Had a visit with dr. Ku today. Terrible billing experience!
When I made an appointment I verified if they accepted United Healthcare. They didn’t even verified my benefits and costs but charged me full amount for a visit upfront.
Later they were arguing with me that my preventive benefits are not covered. They passed me to another person who mentioned that they accept United but not Exchange Plans!!! If only they mentioned that upfront I would find another provider within network but instead they fooled me.
I won’t be back there again and encourage others to avoid this place with unprofessional front desk staff and billing expertise.

I had Dr Ku deliver my two kids, so this review isn't for her. She is a good doctor, but the office staff esp billing has been horrible. I have had years of issues, with no clarification and accountability. Its been a total headache. I have been wrongly billed over a year after my delivery, billed for a service date I wasnt even there, a bill has been backdated, its just a nightmare.

As a new patient of Dr.Ku, I was very surprised my skin cancer check took about 60 seconds, my scalp wasn’t looked at and I expressed concern regarding a mole there, she swiftly glanced at it, not checking the rest of my scalp, and said nope it’s fine, and that was the end of it. I am now scheduled with another practice to have another skin cancer check, I will definitely not be returning to this practice. I have had skin cancer checks for 30 years at a different practice, this was a was the first time I’ve had such a negative experience.

Wish I read the reviews before I came here. Dr. Ku brushed me off during the visit and made me feel like my concerns were minuscule and irrelevant. She spent maybe 10 minutes with me. I did like her MA. She was personable and easy to talk to. My only complaint about her though is that I was supposed to get a procedure done and it’s been 11 days since I last spoke to her and the order still has not been sent. Will not be coming back to this office.

The experience was horrible.
When I got a procedure done, when I told the doctor that I felt like fainting she made the comment, "Oh don't do that." Like really, I was scared. The nurse was nice enough to stay but the Doctor didn't even tell me that she would check back.

I also, asked for my medical records so they can be sent to a new office and this has taken them 3 weeks plus and more then 20 calls to receive it. No one is ever by the phone its ridiculous. It seems they are always on a break.

Highly don't recommend them. I got a SURPRISE bill almost a year after my visit. They "said" that they have sent me the bill 4 times but I wouldn't just not give attention or pay it...

I echo reviews by others. Dr. Ku herself is excellent - bedside manner, knowledge, and support. It's her office staff that inspires my rating.

I scheduled by pap for 11 days before my wedding. Afterward, I received a voicemail requesting a call back with no details. I had to leave a message requesting more details, since I had signed the paperwork approving detailed messages on my cell. They eventually left a message saying that I needed to call back: "It's about scheduling another appointment." I called while I was driving to Louisiana for my wedding, was put on hold, and then hung up on. I spent my entire wedding weekend and honeymoon assuming something was wrong on my pap, since I was unable get on the phone with the office to find out what was happening.

When I was finally able to talk to the office manager, I was told that they had just mixed up my sample with another patient and wanted me to come in to give another sample; they said I would not be charged for the additional visit. After the second visit, I received a second bill from PathAdvantage for my labs. (I'd already paid the first.) I called the office to see if they could do anything, since I wasn't supposed to be charged for their mistake. A very unfriendly receptionist said that the office manager would get back to me. I called a second time, and an exceedingly friendly receptionist requested I leave a detailed message for the office manager to be sure my needs were met. I did so, even including my PathAdvantage account information. That was weeks ago, and I've now received a third bill notice from PathAdvantage with no word from Dr. Ku's office.

The customer service is not up to par with the caliber of Dr. Ku's expertise. I cannot recommend this office.

I love Dr. Ku!!! She’s delivered 2 of my kiddos and though one of my pregnancies was rough she was so supportive every step of the way. She is honestly like family 💕

The staff was bumpy at one time but since than has new employees and are all fabulous!

Just wanted to take the time to say how thankful we were to have the beautiful Dr. Ku as our doctor. She did such an amazing job. This was our 1st child and when she pulled out son Blake out there was that split second where I saw him limp... His cord was around his neck and the only thing that eased my mind was the look of confidence on Dr. Ku's face. She couldn't have done a more amazing job and we couldn't be happier! Will definitely recommend to anyone and we will continue to use her when we decide to have a daughter. Thank you Dr. Ku!

I don't think it's right to leave a one star review of the most amazing OBG there is just because you don't like her office staff. How about you discuss the issue with her office to her and she will listen and handle it. She spends SO much time with her patients unlike a lot of them out there.
