This is my real life experience with Ku Deanwood. I am so grateful my daughter was able to experience this program. My biggest appreciation was that the teachers Ms.Peggy, Ms. Jones and Ms. Asia treated my daughter like a human being nothing less. My daughter developed reading skills, friendships and true social skills. We worked together, her teachers, her father and me to potty train her within 3/4 months. Right into underwear. My daughter still talks about KI Deanwood still. She misses her friends and teachers that helped her get prepared for her current school.

Advice: you and your children’s teachers are a team, it is not their job to raise your kids.

A true gem!!! My daughter started going there when she was 2. These teachers had a curriculum planned for these babies and they are learning! In 1 year, my daughter learned her colors, alphabets and numbers. These teachers hard work and dedication help prepare my daughter for elementary school! They send pictures, video and updates on your child through out the day! Always clean and they take vouchers! I Never had to second guess, these teachers truly care about the kids! It was a pleasure to have my daughter there and I highly recommend enrolling your child there!

I absolutely loved KU. My daughter really thrived and excelled here. They were very communicative and the teachers were amazing. The app helps us see what all is happening in her class and that’s super helpful. I would absolutely recommend them and if i have more kids, I would send them to KU.

Kids University at Deanwood is an amazing daycare! Transitioning from nanny share to dropping her off into someone else’s care was seamless.

We did a pre visit to see the facilities and meet the wonderful teachers.

KU Deanwood does fun art and brain/sensory activities with the kids every day. Healthy meals are catered and brought in every day.

They are consistent with sending photos every afternoon which I didn’t realize was going to be a huge thing for me to feel connected to my daughter every day.

The teachers are so kind and bilingual so my daughter has started learning some new words in Spanish.

One of my favorite things, next to the amazing care from the teachers, is that it’s attached to the Deanwood Community center and right next to the Ron Brown high school. This allows the kids to run around in the football field every day to get some healthy outdoor time. And when it’s rainy, they can run around in the Deanwood gymnasium. They also have a lovely fenced in outdoor playground. Lastly, thanks to the quality and facility access, they don’t do street walks, which was a requirement for me in finding a safe place.

Every new baby parent I meet on the street, I recommend KU Deanwood.

Is give more stars if I could.

We've been thrilled with our experience at KU Kids Deanwood, and I could not recommend this center more highly. When we first sent our daughter at 7 months old, I came into the center twice a day during the workday to nurse her for a month, and the team was extremely accommodating to support her transition to daycare (and then eventually her transition to bottles during the day). I also got to watch the teachers interact with the kids while I was there nursing, and it gave me confidence that my daughter was in excellent hands. Within a couple months, our daughter was happy to be dropped off every morning and loved her teachers. They offer a variety of creative learning activities, balanced meals, a comfortable nap environment, and lots of time for free play. She continuously learns so much in this nurturing environment and enthusiastically asks to go to "school" every morning!

Such a hidden gem. I don’t have much experience with Daycare’s as this is my first time sending a child to one, especially as early as I did. Clean, bright, welcoming, environment. As with any daycare you have your random/ various outbreaks of germs, but ultimately that’s unavoidable. For the quality of care, it is reasonably priced, and the hours are perfect for working families. My daughter loves going to “school” and she’s not even 18 months yet. The center manager is my absolute favorite caretaker, and she ensures parents concerns are addressed. Highly recommend this center.

My child has been going to this daycare little over a year and I’m no longer satisfied with the staff member and the program. There’s not enough learning activities being done. Teachers barley speak English. Recently, teachers been less engaged with children throughout the day as recently I been seeing staff on their phone more during the evening. Everyday when I pick my child up, it’s just something I observe that irritates me! I have to constantly tell teachers their duties. This daycare has declined really bad in the pass 8 month and my child will be removed by the end of this summer! If you care about your child’s education, health, and proper communication with staff … don’t bring your child here. I’m tired of constantly talking and I’m done! Like literally! This daycare needs more training and focus on advancing kids…communicating more with the parenting. I’m disappointed that I have came to this final decision. As an attentive parent, I want to make sure my child is striving , and every child belongs in a center where the parent feels comfortable and child is in the best on hands!
