I came here 7 mo pregnant & stressed out/anxious about my current situation. In general, I was a happy person but was going through some stuff that I was having a tough time coping with. When I started the meds & side effects started, I brushed it off as pregnancy woes.
My refill was denied because I missed an appointment, due to how unmotivated and confused I had become by then.
My baby was then born with withdrawals, which is what I was told by the hospital.
Two months later, I began protracted withdrawal from my meds & thought I had lost my mind. Everyone has brushed it off as postpartum, got put back on meds, and now I’m an anxious empty shell with suicidal thoughts… all I needed was someone to talk to, not life altering pills.
They rush you and just want you to answer their questionnaire while they look at their computer so they can tell you what meds you can take, and don’t truly care about how you feel.

This is a training location of some kind. If you have any long term real issues look elsewhere. The young male doctor in a black spider man track suit makes a ton of assumptions without even speaking to me himself and cannot even take the time to learn my name as a patient. I open up about my 38 years of life and he can’t even glance at my file to learn my name. He had his arms crossed in judgement as he stood there and I felt so very uncomfortable, left immediately after our interaction. Called to cancel future appointments and told staff why and they did not care one bit.

Been a patient here since i was 24 years old in 2021. every 6 months when the residents change, i get nervous because i wonder how anyone could treat me as well as my previous doctor. throughout the last 3 years, I have been graced with 4-5 different doctors who care and really listen to me; make med changes when needed, are quick to get me in for an urgent visit, or even just a phone call to clarify certain things for me.

These are good people, or maybe I just got incredibly lucky with my experience. The clinic staff is also very kind to me. I never feel like an inconvenience when i have a million questions to ask. These last few years, Dr. Armstrong, Dr. Bogard, and Dr. Costa, have always made me feel cared for & like my story mattered. It's very hard to find that in the medical field as a woman & it means so much to me. Not sure where I would be today without their help

They lied and tried to do a psychiatric evaluation on my child without my consent nor any reauthorization from the insurance. They were authorized for medication management only and medication eval only. Their very manipulative and unethical in their practices. My child has already had a psych eval and didn't need another one. Something that they would have known had they been honest about what they were doing. They also met with the hospital psychiatrist who wasn't helping my child and decided to include her in my child's care without my authorization or consent. They think they can get records without releases as well. 0 stars would be more befitting. Do not take your children here. My daughter is still having side effects from her meds, and even though they've been told this, they refused to change the med or address the side effects. They also refused to properly medicate her for her disorders, which were diagnosed by 3 different psychiatrist and psychologist. Terrible doctors and terrible care. Also don't use St Joseph for psychiatric care for your children. St Joseph uses KU and created a hostile environment for my child while she was in there.

Dr. Jessica Stumpe is AMAZING! I'd recommend her to anyone. I felt comfortable with her instantly and I tend to ramble on on on. Apparently I have a lot to say. LOL.
I couldn't ask for anyone better.

Don't bother going. They won't take you seriously. I have bipolar disorder, anxiety, and depression, and I was told I needed to get a hobby. I need medicine to help me work and leave my home, but since I was able to make it to my appointment my experience was trivialized.

Don’t waste your time with this place. All they do is give you one hour and then tell you there’s nothing they can do for you and tell you to look for another mental health provider.
